Action Race

Introduction:
A fun game using actions.

What is learnt?
Verbs, and the sentence "I can ..."

How the game is played:
Students are split into 2 teams and sit in lines with a chair by each team and one chair at the other end of the room.

One student from each team stands next to their chair and the teacher calls out an action. e.g. Jump, hop, clap, run, etc. The student must then do that action all the way down to the chair at the back of the classroom, sit down in the chair and say "i can ...". For example if the teacher calls jump the 2 students will jump to the chair at the back of the class and once seated say "i can jump".

The first student to sy the sentence seated in the chair gets one point for their team.
